Nitrogen assisted injection molding high flow high-pressure secondary pressurization series system

In response to the problem of insufficient pressure in the nitrogen generator for injection molding, the company has specially developed a secondary pressurization system. The principle is to use a gas booster pump to pressurize low-pressure nitrogen gas twice to achieve the operating pressure of the injection molding machine.

Below is a detailed explanation of this device. The device is driven by air pressure of 3-8 bar and nitrogen gas of 3-7 bar is used as the pressurized gas. For the first time, the original 3-6 bar nitrogen gas is pressurized to 6-40 bar by a double or five fold Feentor gas booster pump. After pressurization, the nitrogen gas is stored in a nitrogen cylinder and supplied to the second gas booster pump. The second booster pump selects a ten to twenty-five fold Feentor gas booster pump to further pressurize the first pressurized nitrogen gas to 80-200 bar for use in the injection molding machine.

A customer asked why not use the ZTT25 gas booster pump directly? This involves issues of flow rate and practicality. After long-term experiments, we have concluded that the nitrogen flow rate after secondary pressurization will be greater than that of two ZTT25s. In terms of cost savings and maintenance, connecting a low-pressure pump and a high-pressure pump in series is cheaper and easier to maintain.

Parameters of nitrogen assisted injection molding pressurization system:

    1. Model: ZTS-ZTA (2 or 5) - ZTD (10 or 25) - S (depending on customer product demand pressure).

    2. Drive pressure: 3-8 bar (a single booster pump consumes 800 L/min).

    3. Output pressure: 8-20MPa (depending on customer product demand pressure).

    4. Flow rate: 154-372L/min (depending on the driving pressure and pump model).
