    1、 For single-stage booster pumps, the inlet pressure has a significant impact on the flow rate based on the different boost ratios. Under the same boost ratio, the higher the inlet pressure within a certain range, the greater the output flow rate. The inlet pressure not only has a significant impact on the flow rate but also helps to extend the lifespan of the booster. The higher the inlet pressure, the greater the output flow rate, and the frequency of operation of the booster will be greatly shortened, thereby affecting the service life of the booster pump. On the contrary, due to the lower inlet pressure, the working time of the booster pump will become longer, and it will need to work many times to increase the pressure, which will shorten the service life of the gas booster pump.


    2、 There are significant requirements for the inlet pressure of a two-stage booster pump. Taking the Feentor ZTT40 as an example, if the pressurized gas on site is 15 bar, the customer needs to reduce the pressure to 10 bar for pressurization. If the high-pressure range is reached, the pump will stop working. The higher the pressure within 10 bar, the greater the flow rate.


    3、 The inlet pressure will affect the production efficiency of the factory site. It is suggested that, under certain conditions, pre pressurization of gas can be of great help to gas booster pumps.
