What should be noted during hydrostatic testing? Insufficient attention to detail during experiments can affect the accuracy of the experimental data. Below, the editor will briefly introduce a few necessary precautions to avoid affecting the accuracy of the data.
1: Before the hydrostatic test, check the connection and sealing of the tested part. When injecting water into the tested part, try to exhaust the air inside the tested part as much as possible.
2: During the water pressure test, the ambient temperature should not be lower than 5 degrees. When the ambient temperature is lower than 5 degrees, anti freezing measures should be taken.
3: During the hydrostatic test, the tested component should measure the test temperature, and it is strictly prohibited to connect the material test temperature to the brittle transition temperature.
4: During the hydrostatic test, the test pressure of the tested component should be 1.5 times the design pressure and not less than 0.6Mpa.
5: During the water pressure test, slowly increase the pressure to the detection pressure, maintain the pressure for the industry specified time, and then release the pressure or conduct a burst test after completion.
6: During the water pressure test, if a leak is found during the test, it should not be treated under pressure and should be repaired after reducing the pressure. After the defect is treated, the test should be repeated.
